Breast Cancer*
Breast cancer remains one of the most frightening realities
for women. At least 1 in 70 are at risk for developing the
disease by age 40 (1 in 250 by age 30), and the disease most
commonly affects women over 50. Risk factors increase if a
woman has a family history of breast cancer - hereditary factors
account for 5-10 percent of cases+. With numbers like these,
many of us know someone who has battled this deadly disease,
or we have faced this killer head on ourselves. Support groups
for women and their families are many - to find information
