In
Touch, Trichotillomania Learning Center, Santa Cruz, CA
Helen's years of service to women with trichotillomania
brings women in need from all over the globe. Her dedication
to the Trichotillomania Learning Center extends her further
as a resource to the community. She donates her time and
services to the group, and contributes to the organization's
newsletter. In all her contributions, Helen highlights
the importance of finding resources that respect and honor
a woman's personal battles with "trich." In
"Healing Hands," Helen writes, "I believe
that anything done with determination gives us the strength
to prevail over any circumstance in life. One of the greatest
gifts I receive in my profession is seeing a woman who
has struggled with hair-loss - whether it is hereditary
or random - wear her new head of hair with a new sense
of confidence, heightened self-esteem, and a newfound
sense of hope for healing herself.

well-trained in a variety of hair-replacement methods,
and offer in-depth and private consultations to discuss
this information with clients."
