After years of watching her mother in the salon, my daughter Dondrea (pronounced Don-DRAY-uh) has become a mainstay in the business. Assisting me in everything from hairweaving and hair extension procedures to personal client services like appointment scheduling to general client counseling, it seems like only yesterday I was telling my 5-year old child that one day she'd be "Mommy's right-hand." And to think, she's now approaching 30…

In addition to teaching my daughter an invaluable skill, I'm also grateful for one reason in particular that Dondrea has mastered so many hairweaving and non-surgical hair replacement techniques: Unfortunately, as is much the case with alopecia, she inherited the disease from her mother.

A key characteristic of alopecia is that hair grows one day and can be lost the next. In Dondrea's case, when her own hair occasionally re-grows she suffers from accompanying migraine headaches. Her preference in hairstyles is for a look that reflects her busy lifestyle of working several hours a day and raising her three children.

As with the rest of the staff, her personal experience with hair loss gives her a crucial understanding of Klassic's International's clients. Dondrea continues to be an integral part of the workings of this organization.
