As a woman who has had alopecia since the age of 14, I've traveled a long journey on the hair-road and finally reached the destination of self-acceptance. My journey makes me know that there are limited real-world solutions for women dealing with the pain and emotional distress of not having the hair they've always wanted.

When I stepped out of my own nightmare and into reality, I was able to wrap my arms around my life and take charge of who I was. I simply accepted that my hair would never return no matter what I did or how much I wished it would. But what I could do is provide for myself what the industry at large was not able to provide to me: a full head of hair that looked natural, stood up to the rigors of daily life, and wouldn't compromise my already fragile hair and scalp.

To this end, I set out to re-invent the approach taken to hairweaving, non-surgical hair replacement and hair additions in general, and to change the prevailing opinions about the lack of solutions available to women like me: women with full heads of their own hair who longed to improve it, and women who had no hair at all but deserved a chance to look just as beautiful as everyone else. My mission was to create a more holistic, all-inclusive methodology that would serve the needs of women everywhere, regardless of their hair length, hair or scalp condition, or medical needs.

So many of my clients confirm how arduous the process is of getting the hair they've always wanted, and they've made untold sacrifices to get it. From stories about hair extensions that resulted in hair loss to customer service nightmares, the challenge that binds women everywhere is their inability to gain an answer to a simple question: Since I've tried all the hair extensions, hair styling techniques, and hair treatments available and none of them satisfy my hair needs exactly, am I destined to always have a bad-hair day no matter what?
